Farm Visits

You can arrange to visit (for free) the Apricot Centre and Farm, see the permaculture, biodynamic and organic growing in practice. These visits can be tailored to your groups (4+) particular interests. Please leave us a message on our answerphone at 01206 230425  or email info@apricotcentre.co.uk stating your requested dates and interests. Only weekdays please. We will do our best to arrange something that suits your needs. We receive a small payment for each visit and will ask you to sign a form during your visit.

    We are a Brownie group from Clacton. There are about 20 of us (children and leaders) and we would like to visit so that the girls can complete their science badge. Would you be able to help us during the February half term which is the 21st – 25th Feb.

    Thanks for this great post on Permaculture Training Courses, I was searching for something along the lines of this and in the top 20 results at google, yours was the most informed and well presented. I was wondering, do you think Permaculture Farming would make a great topic for a future post here? Or did you do that already?

    Hello!

    My name is Anna. I’m representative of Lavka – support your local farmer project. We are established in several cities of Russia and Ukraine farmer’s web-market (lavkalavka.ru). It’s the place where customers can communicate with farmers. And buy food from farmers.

    Our idea is to build international farmers market. One web project for different cities and countries. But the farmers always are local. In Moscow – farmers from central part of Russia, in Petersburg – Russian Baltic farmers, for Kiev – Ukrainian farmers. (name will be lavkalavka.com)

    In this year we are going to open our offices in London, Rome, New York. May be more, but this three cities for sure. We already have partners in Rome – it’s Zello company. The selling food straight from Lazio farmers to customers in Rome. We are now searching for partners in London.
    This is reason why I’m writing to you! Our manager will be in London in 18th- 20-th of February. And if you are interested in this story – it will be pleasure to us to get in touch with you!
