I have over ten years of experience working in therapeutic environments world wide in different settings. Before completing a Masters in Art Therapy I worked in a therapeutic community as a herb garden manager, as a youth worker who looked after children and ran art groups for children and adults with learning disabilities. Since qualifying as an art therapist I have worked in education, autism services and adult mental health for the NHS. My experience in different roles has enriched my practice as an art therapist. I work in a client led, person centred way that focuses on the client's individual needs and what brings them to art therapy.

Art therapy combines the mind and creativity. I enjoy meeting new people and supporting their creative process. My art therapy journey is lifelong and I am continuously learning from clients and colleagues keeping up to date with the latest developments in the realms of art therapy, psychology and consciousness. Having personal experience as a client in therapy, including art therapy, has deepened my practice as a therapist. I understand it is not always easy to be open and the mind takes the time it needs to feel safe.
