+ Ordering Deadline

The ordering deadline is Sunday 23:59. This is necessary to allow us to order everything we need in time and the harvest lists to be sent out to our farm team first thing Monday.

+ Can I make changes/additions/deductions to my order after the ordering deadline?

No, once the cut-off time has passed you will have to wait until the following week.

+ Can I make the substitutions in my veg bag?

It’s fine to request substitutions if there is something that you really don’t like, however, please limit these to 2-3 vegetables if possible. This may mean the doubling up of some items. To do this, please use the ‘Contact’ button on your account homepage.

+ Can I add additional products to my order?

Yes! But please bear in mind when ordering individual items that we don’t always have everything in stock as the availability of produce can’t always be predicted. We will do our best but some things may be removed from your order when we process the round, therefore you will not be charged. We have a range of additional items to add to your order. To name a few...

+ How do I pay?

When setting up your account you will be asked to put in your card deatils and pay upfront for the first order. Once this is done your card details are stored on your account and you are charged on a Thursday of the week of your delivery. If you want to change your card you can login, click on 'my account' and then 'update payment method'.

+ I’ve been charged for a veg bag that I didn’t order

Your account will be charged after the delivery. We do this in case there was a problem with the delivery your order can be ammended before charging. Please double check before contacting us if there’s a problem.

+ When/where do we deliver?

  • Bridgetown, Follaton, Copland Meadows - Tuesday pm
  • Totnes, Littlehempston, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Harberton area - Wednesday am
  • Dartington - Wednesday pm
  • Buckfastleigh, Ivybridge, Ashburton, South Brent, Staverton - Thursday

Please note, we are having to review our delivery timings on a weekly basis so please keep an eye out for these emails for important changes. You can also provide us with specific delivery instructions via your online account.

+ Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?

Yes, collection from the farm is available. All orders will be left in the shed just past the farm gate on Wednesdays at 13:00. The gate will be open from 8:30 - 16:30 Mon - Fri. Please find your name on the label of the bag.

+ My delivery hasn’t arrived/was delivered late

Due to change in customer orders, new customers/paused deliveries for holidays etc. The timings are thus likely to vary so please bear with us - we will get to you! Your order may arrive a little earlier or later than usual on the day of delivery.

+ Items I ordered are missing from my delivery

We may run out of specific goods during the week. Mistakes are also inevitable. If there is a cross on the delivery ticket, we know about it. If not, and you do not get what you had ordered, please let us know and we will take it off your order before we process the payments on Monday. We will always try and email if there is a profuct unfulfilled on your order.

New Customers FAQs

+ Can I register as a new customer?

Yes please do! Check on the 'sign up' page of our website if your address is within our area. You can always try reaching out and seeing if we can deliver to you if you are just outside a boundary or possibly have a work or other address we could use.

+ What is the local food round?

The local food round brings together high-quality nutritious vegetables, fruit, and other produce. It delivers to your door or to local food hubs near you. We grow as much as possible on our farm and have produce from other local small-scale producers and artisans. Between January and May we use Riverford to buy in Uk produce and sometimes europpean to see us through the harder growing months but if possible we will get from as local as possible.

+ Can I change the bag size?

Yes, you can move between sizes as your needs or diet changes.

+ Can I have a bi-weekly bag?

Yes, you can use the website to set up a bi-weekly delivery. For the occasional bag, you are also able to reorder.

+ Can I temporarily pause an order, for example, going on holiday?

Yes, you can pause, cancel and reactivate orders/subscriptions via your online account. Just make sure you do it before the Sunday 23:59 deadline.

 Payment FAQs

+ How do I pay?

You pay upfront for your first delivery. Once your card details are on your account your bank account will be debited on Thursday the week of your delivery. If there are any problems with your order or your bill you can call or email us to discuss.
